Yesterday our new tutor came round to assess us
on our abilities prior to our first lesson tomorrow. We both felt that we did
not do ourselves justice so this morning we aimed to knuckle down to some more
studying. However, we needed to squeeze it in with the other things that
encroach on our time: saying farewell to colleagues; checking out the local
culture and new restaurants; and planning for our Via Francigena walk (the
weather looks good for the next few days).
But by the time we got back last night…..
